WATCH: Bryant goes yard for fourth time in five games with 416-foot laser |
With his fourth home run in the past five games, Chicago Cubs third baseman
Kris Bryant nailed a 416-foot blast to left to put the Cubs on the scoreboard against the Miami Marlins on Thursday. Bryant swung at the first pitch thrown to him by Marlins starter Trevor Richards in the bottom of the first and drove the 4-seamer out of Wrigley Field.
Bryant now has seven home runs and 24 RBI, as a result of the solo dinger. The pitch was somewhat low and inside, but Bryant was able to make perfect contact and send it sailing at 110 miles per hour off the bat and into the left-field bleachers to put the Cubs up 1-0 over the Fish. Warm it up, Kris. ??#KBoom pic.twitter.com/5GyFfldhM8
