WATCH: David Bote crushes go-ahead homer vs. Red Sox

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Cubs utility infielder David Bote has been known for his late-game heroics in more than a year being up in the major leagues.

During Monday night's game against the Red Sox, Bote smacked a go-ahead homer to put the Cubs up 3-2 in the seventh inning.

It was reminiscent of his ultimate grand slam homer last season. In 2018, five of his six homers either tied or gave the Cubs the lead.
