The Cubs have been hitting well this spring.

In the first inning of Thursday's game against the Indians, Cubs infielder David Bote unloaded on a 94 MPH fastball for a solo homer to left center to put the Cubs up early 1-0.

It was his first homer of the spring as he currently is battling with several others for the second base gig in 2021.
