WATCH: Highlights from Week 10 of Cubs' 2019 season

by - Senior Writer -

CHICAGO, Ill. — Although Week 10 of the 2019 MLB slate did not bring about much winning for the Chicago Cubs, who entered Week 11 at 31-26, it did bring with it plenty of excitement for the North Siders. Home runs were plentiful throughout the week for the Cubs, who played away from home as part of a 6-game road trip.

The Cubs went 1-2 in a 3-game set at Minute Maid Park against the Houston Astros and then got swept in a 3-game series at Busch Stadium versus the rival St. Louis Cardinals. The contests in St. Louis were highlighted by intense booing of Cubs slugger Kris Bryant over his offseason remarks about "The Lou," while both series featured an abundance of late-game drama and a slew of dingers hit by a bevy of different Cubs.
