CINCINNATI — Playing in a familiar city, Chicago Cubs left fielder Ian Happ, who played his college ball for the Cincinnati Bearcats, skied a home run at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday. The solo shot increased the Cubs' lead over the Reds to 2-0 and served as Happ's second hit of the night.

Happ took starter Vladimir Gutierrez deep on an 80.2-mph changeup, with the dinger carrying into the right field seats at 104.2 mph and 22 degrees. The homer led off the top of the sixth and marked Happ's 13th round-tripper and 33rd RBI of the season.
