by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs put on a complete performance in Thursday night's game against the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

In the fourth inning, Cubs centerfielder Ian Happ put the cherry on top of the sundae by blasting a solo homer to center to put the Cubs up 7-0.

It was his first hit of the spring. He also had a walk during the contest in the leadoff role.

Happ has always hit well in spring training with a lifetime .986 OPS.

Michael Hermosillo and Austin Romine also homered during the ballgame for the easy win.
