CHICAGO — Charging in and going all out in order to catch a line drive, Chicago Cubs right fielder Jason Heyward showcased why he is a five-time Gold Glove Award recipient. "J-Hey" pulled off a remarkable diving catch in shallow right field to rob Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius of a leadoff hit in the top of the fifth on Wednesday, making for a highlight-worthy play at Wrigley Field.

Starter Alec Mills expressed his appreciation for Heyward after the veteran outfielder left his feet and snagged the liner just before it fell in for a knock. Heyward was able to hang onto the ball after colliding with the ground and sliding across the grass. The web gem was made with the Cubs blanking the Phillies 5-0, and Mills proceeded to pitch a scoreless fifth frame.
