ST. LOUIS — Welcoming newly acquired Chicago Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos to the club with a bang, Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward collided with Castellanos while pulling off a spectacular catch. Starting in center field on Thursday, Heyward laid out for an unbelievable backhanded snag at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Heyward robbed Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty of an RBI hit with his awesome catch in the bottom of the fourth. He tracked down the fly ball hit to right-center and went all out for a web gem that caused him to trip Castellanos, who got back on his feet with no problem. The inning-ending play left runners stranded on the corners.
