WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — After Chicago Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos' home run put the Cubs up 1-0 over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the top of the first on Sunday, Cubs center fielder Jason Heyward went yard in the top of the third. The solo bomb from "J-Hey" increased the Cubs' lead to 2-0 at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

Hitting an opposite-field blast out to left field in the 2019 MLB Little League Classic, Heyward took Pirates starter Mitch Keller deep with two outs in the third frame. The round-tripper marked Heyward's 18th long ball of the season and the Cubs' 49th opposite-field home run of the season, which is the most in the majors.
