CHICAGO — Although the Chicago Cubs trailed by seven runs at the time, an impressive home run off the bat of Javier Baez was enough to get a rise out of the Wrigley Field faithful on Monday. Sending a dinger to the opposite field, Baez walloped a two-out jack to make the score 10-3 in favor of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The 407-foot solo jack came with two outs in the bottom of the eighth, as Baez tallied his second RBI of the game and 52nd RBI of the season. Sailing off the bat at 105.3 mph and 27 degrees, Baez's 19th long ball of the year traveled out to right field in a hurry. Reliever Jose Alvarado gave up the bomb on a 99.7-mph sinker.
