CHICAGO — Two at-bats after Ian Happ skied a solo bomb that put the Cubs on the scoreboard, Javier Baez came through with a solo bomb of his own. The Chicago Cubs shortstop hammered a 448-foot moonshot out to straightaway center field, putting the Cubs up 2-0 on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Pirates starter Mitch Keller was victimized on the dinger, which came on a 2-0 count in the bottom of the third. Baez now has three home runs to his name this season.
