MILWAUKEE — Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester provided himself with a lead to work with by hitting an RBI double down the right-field line on Sunday. As part of a 3-run inning for the Cubs, Lester smacked his second double of the season and plated Cubs third baseman David Bote as a result.

The 2-bagger off Milwaukee Brewers starting hurler Adrian Houser at Miller Park provided the Cubs with a 2-1 advantage in the top of the third. Lester proceeded to score on an ensuing double hit by Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist.
