CHICAGO — Jonathan Lucroy's first home run with the Chicago Cubs made quite the statement. Going yard in a Cubs uniform for the first time, Lucroy walloped a 433-foot moonshot out of Wrigley Field on Sunday.

Providing the Cubs with a commanding 16-6 advantage over the Pittsburgh Pirates, the solo shot in the bottom of the eighth carried 433 feet and landed on Waveland Avenue. Lucroy entered the game as a first baseman in the top of the eighth and crushed his eighth round-tripper of the season soon afterward.
