Kris Bryant proved to be the winning hit in the Cubs' 12-11 victory.
Taking Giants reliever Reyes Moronta deep in the bottom of the eighth, Bryant plated Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos, who led off with an infield single, and put the Cubs ahead by one run.
