SAN FRANCISCO — Helping keep the Chicago Cubs' 3-2 lead at Oracle Park intact on Monday night, Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant laid out for a stellar diving stop in the bottom of the seventh. The inning-ending play resulted in two baserunners being left stranded by the Giants.

With men on first and second with two outs, the Giants' Mike Yastrzemski smacked a hard-hit grounder into the 5-6 hole that could have easily gone through for a game-tying hit. Instead, Bryant went all out and came up with a diving stop before firing to Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo to end the inning.
