Kris Bryant did the same on Friday. Providing the Cubs with an early 1-0 lead, Bryant swung at the first pitch of his at-bat and lifted it 414 feet out to left-center.
Bryant's 15th dinger of the season, the first-inning blast at Dodger Stadium came on a 93.1-mph four-seamer thrown by starter Tony Gonsolin. The towering long ball left the bat at 105.9 mph and 36 degrees, increasing Bryant's RBI total to 41.
