CINCINNATI — On the first pitch of his seventh-inning at-bat on Sunday, Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber clubbed a 2-run blast out to left field off a two-seamer thrown by Reds reliever Michael Lorenzen. Swatting a 369-foot shot at Great American Ball Park, Schwarber picked up his 18th home run of the season.

Cubs center fielder Albert Almora Jr. hit an RBI single in the previous at-bat, and he was plated on Schwarber's dinger, which made the score 4-3 in favor of the Reds. The tater occurred with one out in the top of the seventh, and it carried over the wall in left at a velocity of 102 miles per hour. Schwarber now boasts 40 RBI on the year.
