WATCH: Nicholas Castellanos hammers 403-foot 2-run blast

CHICAGO — After the Chicago Cubs fell into a 4-run hole in the top of the first on Friday, Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos quickly cut that deficit in half by smacking a 2-run jack in the bottom of the first. Taking Pittsburgh Pirates starter Steven Brault deep, Castellanos made the score 4-2 and matched his career high for long balls.

A 403-foot blast, the dinger marked Castellanos' 26th bomb of the season. Leaving Wrigley Field at an exit velocity of 103 miles per hour and a launch angle of 25 degrees, the 2-run round-tripper plated Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who hit a leadoff single.
