Patrick Wisdom is having a fun birthday at Guaranteed Rate Field tonight.
Wisdom smacked a mammoth three-run homer to left field in the first inning to put the Cubs up 3-0 on Friday night. It was his 22nd homer of the season that traveled an exit velocity of 114.2 MPH (hardest-hit homer of his career). The monstrous shot actually went onto the concourse and went an estimated 448 feet (longest of his career). Wisdom is the first Cubs player to homer on his birthday since Aramis Ramirez in 2011.
