NEW YORK — Going yard for the second time on the night, Chicago Cubs catcher Victor Caratini clobbered a home run at Citi Field on Thursday. Putting the Cubs up 4-1 over the New York Mets in the top of the seventh, Caratini drilled a 3-run shot to right field.

The dinger, which followed two consecutive Cubs singles, came off Mets ace Jacob deGrom, and it sailed 393 feet into the upper deck. Caratini's solo shot earlier in the game also landed in the upper deck. The 3-run jack marked Caratini's ninth long ball of 2019.
