Cubs sign RHP to minor league contract

The Cubs have signed righty Nick Sarianides to the organization according to Baseball America and he will more than likely will be placed in Double-A Tennessee.

In 2016, Sarianides pitched 12 1/3 innings and allowed seven runs, 15 hits, 11 walks with a 3.65 ERA with Double-A Mobile.

Sarianides spent the last two seasons in the Diamondbacks system and in the last six seasons in the minors, he has a career record of 18-15 with a 3.38 ERA with 33 saves.
