Cubs News: It's official: Ross to be on Dancing with the Stars |
Chicago Cubs fans will finally get to see Grandpa Rossy's moves on the dance floor as former catcher
David Ross will be on this season's Dancing with the Stars show on ABC. Ross is the first major league player to take part in the event.
The entire cast of participants for Season 24 was announced during ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday morning and Ross was included with the new celebrity dancers. His partner will be talented professional dancer Lindsey Arnold. Former teammate Anthony Rizzo had a video message with him during a morning show and said the following. "Can't wait to watch those hips move," Rizzo said. "They don't lie baby. Good Luck and try not to suck!" The first show to see Ross will be March 20, 8 p.m. on ABC. Ross batted .229 with ten homers and 32 RBIs in his final season in the majors. #DWTS Pair: @D_Ross3 & @lindsayarnold! @DancingABC @Cubs #Cubs @MLB pic.twitter.com/jz3O9cyXZC WATCH: @ARizzo44 with a message for @D_Ross3 ahead of @DancingABC! #DWTS @Cubs @MLB pic.twitter.com/ON98PJBN24 CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THESE GUYS KILL IT THIS SEASON!!!! @lindsayarnold @D_Ross3 pic.twitter.com/KMrdWKesJ4 @D_Ross3 @lindsayarnold Forever Young! pic.twitter.com/7ozejnIVfI
