Vegas odds has Cubs with highest projected wins in 2017

The 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs Cubs were recently labeled according to Vegas Sportsbooks as the frontrunners to win the 2017 World Series at 7-2.

Now, Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook on Tuesday released their betting odds on the projected regular-season win totals on Tuesday and the Cubs led the way with the highest projected win totals at 95.5.

Other National League contenders with the highest totals were the Los Angeles Dodgers (94.5), Washington Nationals (91.5), New York Mets (88.5), and San Francisco Giants (87.5). In the American League, the three teams with the highest win totals were the Cleveland Indians (93.5), Boston Red Sox (92.5), and the Houston Astros (91.5).

Theoretically, the Cubs and the Indians look to possibly have a rematch of the 2016 World Series if everything breaks right for both teams. What an exciting series that would be as both teams are loaded with young and exciting players.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Cubs rival Chicago White Sox had the second lowest projected win totals at only 68 wins. The Padres were the only team that was projected to be worse than the White Sox in baseball for the upcoming season.
