Cubs News: Anthony Rizzo announces 4th annual Youth Baseball camp

Rosemont, IL –- All-Star first baseman Anthony Rizzo has announced the date and location of his fourth annual youth baseball camp.

The Citi Anthony Rizzo Baseball ProCamp presented by BODYARMOR will be held on July 18th at The Ballpark at Rosemont.

Participants will learn fundamental baseball skills and have the opportunity to meet and interact with the All-Star first baseman. Each participant will receive a souvenir autograph from Anthony and a team photo with Anthony.

Rizzo will be on-site to direct the event and will be joined by a selection of prep and college coaches from the area. The camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades 1-8.

Event sponsors include EnergIce, Hatton Foundation, Pizza Hut, and Welch’s Fruit Snacks.

Throughout the one-day camp, Anthony Rizzo and our coaches will offer tips and hands-on instruction, including lectures, fundamental baseball skills stations, contests, and games in a high-energy, fun, and positive environment. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each child gets maximum instruction. The camp will be staffed by some of the area's top high school and college coaches.

The comprehensive camp experience is great for athletes of all skill levels, whether they are new to the game or have been playing for years. Individual and team awards will be given in each age group.

Each attendee will receive:

a souvenir autograph from Anthony Rizzo (item provided – outside items not permitted)

a camp team photo with Anthony Rizzo

a limited-edition Anthony Rizzo Baseball ProCamp t-shirt
