Cubs News: Anthony Rizzo celebrates his engagement with teammates

Chicago Cubs slugger Anthony Rizzo got engaged on Thursday night to his lovely girlfriend Emily Vakos and posted the following on his Twitter account.

"Luckiest guy in the world!" Rizzo tweeted with excitement. "She said YES. Future Mr. & Mrs. Rizzo."

After the Cubs 3-2 win against their rival Cardinals on Friday afternoon, the happy team celebrated

with a red and blue cake to Rizzo's face in the locker room.

"Wore it right in my face," Rizzo said to reporters. "It was awesome."

Jason Heyward congratulated the couple and shared a funny photo on his personal Instagram account.

"Congrats to the Captain @arizz_44 and @vakosem on their engagement!" Heyward posted.

Rizzo invited his family and friends to a private Jack Johnson concert later that night.
