Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo was named National League Player of the Week on Monday.

Last week, Rizzo batted .429 with 12 hits and 13 RBIs. For the season, he is batting .268 with 28 homers, 84 RBIs, and .387 on-base percentage.

For his career, Rizzo has batted .267 with 162 homers, 509 RBIs, and .366 on-base percentage.
