Cardinals troll themselves with 'winning' tweet

The Chicago Cubs are 9-1 in their last ten games and have distanced themselves in the National League Central race as they are up comfortably to the second-place Cardinals by five games.

However, the St. Louis Redbirds tweeted the following after their win on Friday.

The hottest team in the NL Central just keeps on winning!

Are you kidding me?

Obviously, the Redbirds are 6-4 in their last 10 games which is respectable but not as impressive as the Cubs blistering 9-1 record.

I'm not sure if they were trolling themselves or just are in denial that the Cubs are about to wrap another division crown. Either way, it is strange and sorta pathetic for a once proud organization.
