Chicago Cubs announce details for potential postseason ticket sales

by -

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs have announced details for fans seeking the opportunity to purchase single game tickets to potential 2019 postseason games at Wrigley Field. Beginning today at noon CDT until Monday, September 23, at noon CDT, fans can register for a random drawing to win a chance to purchase single game postseason tickets for a potential Wild Card Game and National League Division Series games.* Registration cut-off times for future potential rounds are available at www.cubs.com/postseason.

Fans will be required to complete an online form and submit a one-time refundable deposit of $50 in an effort to verify authenticity of each entry and the genuine interest to attend postseason games. The $50 deposit may be applied to the ticket purchase, if applicable, or will be refunded at the conclusion of the postseason.

Fans who register for the online ticket opportunity will be notified via email if they have been selected for a chance to purchase. Those who are randomly selected from all eligible registrants will have a one-time chance to purchase a maximum of four tickets, pending availability, among available games. Tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

All registered fans who are not selected or do not complete a purchase for early postseason contests will remain eligible for selection if the Cubs advance to subsequent rounds. Fans may only purchase tickets once during the postseason. Being selected in a drawing does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets to a postseason game.

Postseason tickets will be available exclusively as mobile tickets via the free MLB Ballpark app. The MLB Ballpark app provides a convenient, secure way for fans to use and share mobile tickets, allowing easy ticket management and entry into games at Wrigley Field using a mobile device. Visit www.cubs.com/ballparkapp for more information.

Single game ticket buyers are encouraged to pay with Mastercard, the preferred credit card of the Chicago Cubs. Fans may visit www.cubs.com/postseason for more information about potential single game postseason ticket sales or call the Chicago Cubs Fan Services team at 800-THE-CUBS with any questions.

*Registration is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited; additional exclusions apply. Registrations from past Postseason Ticket Purchase Opportunities do not carry over to the 2019 Postseason Ticket Purchase Opportunity. Full terms and conditions are available at www.cubs.com/postseason.
