Not fun stuff to report.

Thursday night's Cubs-Reds game at Wrigley Field will officially start in a rain delay.

The new ETA for a game start is around 7:35 p.m. CDT as the tarp is currently on the field.

We will update you when we have more information for tonight's game.

Update: Game is no longer set for 7:35 p.m. CDT because of persistent rain in the area. Time is now TBD.

Update 2: The game now has an ETA of 8:30 p.m. CDT.

Once the action gets underway, the Cubs will have righty Adbert Alzolay (0-1, 2.08 ERA) on the mound against righty Sonny Gray (5-2, 3.19 ERA)
