The first place Chicago Cubs (30-27) will battle the Miami Marlins (24-33) at 7:05 p.m. CDT on Wednesday night televised on WGN-TV. Veteran John Lackey will take the mound for the defending World Champions.

One lineup tidbit is that shortstop Addison Russell is not in the starting lineup for tonight's game.

The Cubs are currently in first place in the National League Central tied with the Brewers.
