The Chicago Cubs (30-31) will battle the first-place Colorado Rockies (41-23) at 1:20 p.m. CDT on Sunday afternoon televised on WGN-TV.
Jake Arrieta will take the mound for the defending World Champions as they try to stop a four-game home losing streak. Arrieta has been impressive at home this season with a 3-0 record with 3.04 ERA in four starts.
One lineup note is that shortstop Addison Russell will be starting at shortstop for the second straight game.
