The Chicago Cubs (30-31) will battle the first-place Colorado Rockies (41-23) at 1:20 p.m. CDT on Sunday afternoon televised on WGN-TV. Jake Arrieta will take the mound for the defending World Champions as they try to stop a four-game home losing streak. Arrieta has been impressive at home this season with a 3-0 record with 3.04 ERA in four starts.

One lineup note is that shortstop Addison Russell will be starting at shortstop for the second straight game.

The Cubs are currently in second place in the National League Central (2 GB) behind the Brewers.
