The Chicago Cubs (51-47) will take on their cross town rival Chicago White Sox at 1:20 PM CDT on Tuesday afternoon televised on CSN Chicago and MLB Network. The Cubs have also won eight out of their last 10 games this season.

Cubs veteran righty John Lackey will take the mound for today's game for the defending World Champions opposed by lefty Carlos Rondon.

In 2017, Lackey has a 6-9 record with 5.04 ERA with 87 strikeouts. Lackey has not been good at Wrigley Field as he has a 1-4 record at home this season.

Outfielders Kyle Schwarber and Jason Heyward are not in the starting lineup for today's game.

The Cubs are currently in second place in the National League Central (0.5 games) with the Milwaukee Brewers.
