Cubs make decision on starters for Game 3 and Game 4

Chicago Cubs announced on Saturday night their rotation for next week's games in the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The North Siders will go with Jon Lester in game two, Kyle Hendricks in game three at Wrigley Field, and Jake Arrieta in game four also at home.

Lester has a 13-8 record with 4.33 ERA, 180 strikeouts, and 1.32 WHIP this season. During the 2017 postseason, he has pitched 9.2 innings giving up only three hits, two runs, three walks, and five strikeouts.

Hendricks had an impressive 3.03 ERA this season. During the postseason so far, he pitched 11 innings giving up 11 hits, four runs, four walks, 13 strikeouts and 1-0 record.

Arrieta had a 14-10 record with 3.53 ERA, 163 strikeouts, and 1.22 WHIP this season. During the 2017 playoffs, he has pitched 4 innings giving up only two hits, one unearned run, five walks, and four strikeouts.

Hendricks will be pitching on normal rest while Arrieta will have six days of rest between starts.
