Cubs release hype video for Contreras' possible All-Star berth

Contreras hopes that he gets enough All-Star votes

Cubs Productions released an impressive video showcasing Willson Contreras' bid for his second straight All-Star bid.

"If I am able to make the All-Star game, it would be an amazing feeling for me and my family especially knowing where I came from," he said in the following video. "It makes me proud of my family and my country. Representing the Cubs and my country in the All-Star game would be special for me."

For the season, he is batting .295 with 16 homers and 47 RBIs.

Fans can vote at Cubs.com or on Google to send their favorites to the 2019 All-Star game until voting stops at 3 p.m. CDT tomorrow, June 27. Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Javier Báez, Albert Almora Jr., Jason Heyward, Kyle Schwarber and Contreras all made it as finalists.
