It's HAPPENING for Chicago Cubs fans!

According to 670 The Score's Dan Bernstein on Friday, the Bryce Harper negotiations are starting to pick up and the Cubs are one of the teams in the running.

Other frontrunners include the Phillies, Nationals, Giants, Yankees, and Dodgers.

Harper hit .247 with 34 homers, 100 RBIs, and had an on-base percentage of .393. In the NL statistical rankings, he was sixth in homers, 8th in RBIs, 6th in runs (103), 1st in walks (130), and 10th in OPS (.889).

He is a six-time All-Star that won the National League MVP award in 2015.
