Cubs vs Rockies delayed after massive hail storm |
After playing the longest game in the majors this season, the Cubs will get a little more rest as the start of tonight's game at Coors Field has been delayed due to weather. The Denver area was hit with a massive storm that dumped loads of hail.
Tonight is the first of three games against the Colorado Rockies after last evening playing an 18-inning, six-hour, five-minute marathon against the New York Yankees, a 5-4 setback that ended at 1:14 a.m. CT. Jake Arrieta (4-1, 4.63) was scheduled to face RHP Antonio Senzatela (4-1, 2.84) at 7:40 PM CT. We will post more details as we get them.
