Cubs News: Hulu will no longer carry Marquee Sports Network starting Oct. 23

by - Senior Editor -

The streaming industry is very competitive as YouTube TV, Hulu, and others fight and claw for supremacy.

Tough news to report for Cubs fans regarding streaming today.

Hulu will no longer carry Fox Sports Regional Sports Networks, including the YES Network and Marquee Sports Network, starting tomorrow.

“Starting October 23, 2020, we will no longer have the rights to distribute a number of Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) that were previously included in our Live TV plans,” Hulu said in a recent Help Center post.

Obviously, since the Cubs network was launched, a pandemic has changed the sports industry's economic landscape. Hopefully, the two sides can work out a deal before the 2021 season.

The full list of networks that will no longer be on Hulu includes FS Arizona, FS Detroit, FS Florida, FS Midwest (including FS Indiana and FS Kansas City), FS North (including FS Wisconsin), FS Ohio, FS Prime Ticket, FS San Diego, FS South (including FS Tennessee and FS Carolinas), FS Southeast, FS Southwest (including FS Oklahoma and FS New Orleans), FS Sun, FS West, Marquee Sports Network, SportsTime Ohio, and YES Network.
