It's official: Strasburg to start, Cubs sub Schwarber for Heyward

The NLDS Game 4 featuring the Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals was postponed on Tuesday night and will be made up on Wednesday at 3:08 p.m. CT.

According to Dusty Baker in his Tuesday night press conference, standout pitcher Stephen Strasburg was "under the weather" and didn't get his normal workload in so he would be unavailable on Wednesday to pitch at all.

"We're going to go as planned with Tanner (Roark)," Baker said. He didn't work out for Strasburg's workout day. We have full confidence in Tanner. Strasburg is feeling under the weather, like a lot of my team is. This day actually comes as a plus."

However, the official lineup cards were just handed in and Strasburg will be starting on the mound for the Nationals on Wednesday.

Since this is certainly a change in what the Cubs were thinking, they subbed out Kyle Schwarber and replaced him for Jason Heyward since the wind is blowing in and would lessen the chances of a Schwarb-bomb.

The new outfield alignment will be Ben Zobrist in left field, Jon Jay in center field, and Heyward in right field.
