Cubs veteran pitcher
Jon Lester reached out to cancer fighter Tyler Trent this week to invite him and his family to Wrigley Field and sent him some signed cleats and a jersey with his name on it.
The long-time Cubs fan was excited about the opportunity to go to Opening Day at Wrigley Field next year as it is one of his goals as he battles bone cancer. "As a born and raised @Cubs fan this would be another dream come true! Let’s get something on the calendar," Trent posted." #gocubsgo Trent got his Cubs gear today in the mail: So if you didn’t think the @Cubs and @JLester34 are great, you should now.
