MLB shuts down Spring Training facilities

This is not great news to start back baseball in 2020.

Major League Baseball has decided to shut down all spring training facilities in Arizona and Florida after five Philadelphia Phillies players, and three staffers tested positive for COVID-19.

Reportedly, a player on the Astros and Blue Jays' 40-man roster have also tested positive for the virus. Regarding the Cubs, no player has been reported to have contacted the COVID-19.

All facilities will be disinfected and cleaned thoroughly before being reopened for players and staffers.

Hopefully, after a good cleaning, the teams can get back to preparing for the possible season.
