The baseball world was shocked after watching superstar Bryce Harper charge the mound against pitcher Hunter Strickland after it appeared that he threw a 98 MPH fastball on purpose.
Cubs manager Joe Maddon agreed with Harper charging the mound after getting hit after previously crushing two homers off of the pitcher three years ago. "Don't blame Bryce for what he did whatsoever," Maddon said on 670 the score. "Always tell my hitters 'Go to 1st or go to the mound.'" Wow. I guess Maddon is all about old school way of fighting in baseball games but let's just hope that Kris Bryant or Anthony Rizzo don't get hurt in an unnecessary ruckus.
