'Ron Swanson' sings during seventh-inning stretch at Cubs game |
CHICAGO — Diehard Chicago Cubs fan Nick Offerman, the actor who famously played Ron Swanson on the sitcom
Parks and Recreation, attended the matchup at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Offerman and his wife, actress Megan Mullally of
Will and Grace, sang out the seventh-inning stretch.
During the top of the seventh, Offerman chatted with Cubs television broadcasters Jim Deshaies and Len Kasper in the booth. Offerman had a chance to take in a 16-6 Cubs victory, and he and Mullally performed a solid duet of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" midway through the seventh frame.
