Start time on Cubs-Brewers after rain delay

Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton - Senior Editor -

The rain came down in buckets on Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field as a rain delay started at the beginning of the sixth inning with the Brewers up 4-3 over the Cubs. The Cubs announced that the game will resume at around 5:35 pm CDT. The Brewers will have 2nd and 3rd on with no outs in the top of 6th inning.

During the rain delay, a few mallard ducks actually landed and played in the water on the tarp.

Today was actually better weather than tomorrow's forecast in the Chicago area so officials are trying to get this game in because tomorrow might a possible rainout.
