WATCH: 92-year-old attends his first Cubs game, has his name chanted

CHICAGO — Embodying what being a Chicago Cubs fan is all about, a wonderful act of kindness led to a must-see moment at Wrigley Field on Friday. Despite living in the Chicago area, 92-year-old Cubs fan Bill Lill had never attended a Cubs game prior to Friday.

That all changed when Lill's neighbors, who found out at a neighborhood block party that Lill had never seen his favorite baseball team play in person, were kind enough to bring Lill to the Cubs' contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Friendly Confines on Friday.

The neighbors brought a decorated poster to the game that commemorated Lill's milestone, and the crowd sitting in Lill's section began chanting Lill's name, leading to an appreciative Lill toasting the fans' support with his cup of Budweiser. Harry Caray would have been proud.
