MILWAUKEE — Breaking a scoreless tie, Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the fifth on Saturday. Drilling a changeup thrown by Milwaukee Brewers starter Gio Gonzalez, Russell tallied his ninth dinger of the year.

Carrying 404 feet out to center field, the blast, which put the Cubs up 1-0 at Miller Park, marked the Cubs' second hit of the night. The bomb left the bat at 100 miles per hour and boasted a launch angle of 30 degrees.
