With the first grand slam of his career, Chicago Cubs center fielder Albert Almora Jr. sent Wrigley Field into a frenzy on Wednesday night. The go-ahead blast off Philadelphia Phillies starter Cole Irvin marked Almora's fifth dinger of the year, and it sailed 419 out beyond center field.

Almora swung at the first pitch of his fifth-inning at-bat, which came in a high-pressure situation with the bases loaded and two outs, and plowed a no-doubter that left the bat at 104 miles per hour and boasted a launch angle of 28 degrees. The moonshot put the Cubs ahead 7-3 and chased Irvin from the game. Almora received a warranted curtain call from the Cubs faithful after celebrating the blast with his teammates in the dugout.
