WATCH: Anthony Rizzo goes down on one knee, smacks homer

Anthony Rizzo went down on one knee and hit his first home run of the season in the eighth inning on Friday.

CHICAGO — Going down to one knee for a sweet swing, Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo smacked a solo shot out to right field on Friday night. The dinger put the Cubs up 3-0 over the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field.

Although Rizzo was hit in the hand with a pitch earlier in the game, he was not fazed in his eighth inning at-bat. The 386-footer cleared the wall in right field, coming on a fastball thrown by the Brewers' J.P. Feyereisen.
