WATCH: Baez launches 3-run bomb vs. Cardinals

Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez blasted a three-run homer in the third inning to put the Cubs up 8-1 against the Cardinals on Monday night.

It was his 23rd homer of the season and no fireworks were shot into the sky like Bryant's homer. The Cubs had two outs in the inning but the Cardinals decided to pitch to Baez instead of taking their chances with Lester with the bases loaded.
