CHICAGO — Coming up clutch, Chicago Cubs superstar Javier Baez hit a double to left-center on an 0-2 count in the bottom of the eighth inning on Tuesday. With the Cubs trailing 1-0 in the Wild Card Game against the Colorado Rockies, Baez's first hit of the game was pivotal.

With speedster Terrance Gore on second base after pinch running for Anthony Rizzo and accruing a steal, Baez tallied a two-bagger off Rockies reliever Adam Ottavino to plate Gore with ease. Baez hustled around first base and slid in safely for the double, sending Wrigley Field into a frenzy.
