WATCH: Ben Zobrist goes yard for second consecutive game with Pelicans

Through two games with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Ben Zobrist has hit two home runs.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Taking part in his second game as a member of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Chicago Cubs utility man Ben Zobrist collected his second home run in as many outings with the Single-A club on Friday. Skying a leadoff dinger in the bottom of the first, Zobrist put the Pelicans on the scoreboard.

The Pelicans ultimately lost 6-2 to the Wilmington Blue Rocks in a contest at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, and Zobrist went 1-for-3. However, Zobrist's leadoff jack brought plenty of excitement to the ballpark in what might have been Zobrist's penultimate appearance at the Single-A level.
